| 1. Is this web site complete?
No. We have just moved in, and lots of work is still going on to complete the process. Keep checking back as there is only a small portion of the site up at this point. 2. Do you accept submissions from journalist? Yes we do. We also accept submissions from anyone who feels that they can contribute to the site. While there is no guarantee that your submissions will be used we welcome the submission and if we decide to use it,, we will contact you. Also all of your submissions will remain your property. Gymspot is a firm supporter in creators rights, and follows all US Copyright and Patent laws. 3. Can I get a spotlight feature? Spotlight features, are designed to put a little of the spotlight on gymnast of all levels. From beginners to Elite. If you want to have a Spotlight feature, you need to contact us about the proper way to submit photos, and also provide us with the necessary information to fit our format. Due to server space, we reserve the right to limit the number of photos, and the amount of text featured. Gymspot also reserves the right to edit any submissions we use for suitable content, spelling and grammar. 4. Where do you get all those neat links? The links we provide are sent in by visitors who stop by Gymspot. We are always interested in any links you would like to share. We ask that no adult oriented material, nor material that is based on hate, racial discrimination, politics, gambling, pirated software, hacking, phreaking, or any related criminal activities be submitted. 5. Can you put me in contact with the gymnast on your site? We do not release any personal information that is not provided by the gymnasts themselves. If you want to send questions or comments to a particular gymnast, we will be glad to forward the information, but for the sake of privacy, we will not release anymore information than what you already can find on the web site. 6. Is it possible to feature my gym or my coach on your site? We will have an area devoted to this soon. If you attend a gym, that you would like to see featured, then please contact us, and we will provide you with the details for submission. 7. How do we get our team scores from meets posted on your site? A page will be devoted to meet scores, which will be based on information provided to us by visitors. You will need to furnish us with e-mail contact information for the gym that hosted the meet, when you are ready to send this type of information. 8. Are you associated with the USAG, FIG or other gymnastics bodies? We do have daughters who are members of USAG while they are competing. Though that is far as our direct connection to USAG extends. We provide courtesy links to their web site and information. But they do not endorse Gymspot in any way, nor does Gymspot accept responsibility for content found on their web site. 9. Can I place banner ads on your web site? Banners on our site are either from our affiliates/associates, or are paid advertisements. You can purchase advertising space with banner impressions on our site, just contact the web master for details. 10. Did you know your links are broken, and some images are missing? Thanks for being observant while visiting our site. We appreciate any information about missing, links, graphics, photos,, etc. Web sites appear differently on different computers, running different software and operating systems. If yo have trouble with our site in any way, please contact us so we can try to repair the situation. 11. You have a photo, text piece, graphic, on your site that I own the copyright to, and I would like you to not use it on your site. With the content we use provided by visitors to our site, we sometimes can not verify the legal ownership of certain items, or we may have been provided inaccurate information. We want to stay in compliance with everyone's copyrighted material, and ask that if you see something that you think we have on our site, that should not be here, then please inform us, so we can research the matter and remove the questionable material, or secure proper permission for its use. 12. Can I use your pictures and information on my web site? Or in my printed reports/articles? All of our material is copyrighted, and the legal property of the copyright holder. If you have an item that you would like to use from our site for any reason, please contact us so that we can put you in touch with the person or entity that owns the legal rights for its usage. In the case of school reports, we will probably grant permission for your use, as along as you agree to our terms of usage after requesting permission in advance of usage. 13. Are there any job openings at Gymspot? We have no current staff positions available. Though we do have interest in freelance columnist, photographers, and artists. At this time we are a new site, and all material is used without financial incentives. You will retain the rights to your work, and be given adequate credit and links to your own web sites. 14. My question is not answered here, where can I find the information I need?
